What it is
On The Grid is a native iOS app for discovering, saving, and organizing the places you want to go — restaurants, bars, the spots worth a detour — and meeting people through them. Save a place straight from an Instagram reel, a TikTok, a Google Maps pin, or a Beli list, and it lands on a map of your own. From there it's social: you find people nearby who saved the same spots and make plans together. It's a discovery-and-plans app, deliberately not a dating one, and it's live on the App Store today.

My role
I co-founded On The Grid and lead its engineering and product as CTO. It's a proprietary product, so this write-up stays at the level of what it does for the people who use it rather than how it's built. Happy to talk shop directly.
