Kevin Aspesi — technical co-founder & CTO · software engineer

I co-founded On The Grid and lead its engineering and product — an iOS app for finding places to eat, built on Swift, a Node/TypeScript backend, and an AI pipeline that imports venues from social posts. Before that, nearly three years at C3 AI, most of it on the platform team. I work agent-first: worktree-per-workspace development, agent-run code review, and test infrastructure boring enough to trust.

    Consumer social app for discovering and sharing places, backed by some of the same people behind Tinder. I lead engineering and product across the iOS app, the backend and the internal tooling.

    • Own the native iOS app end to end — Swift and SwiftUI, including a share extension that lets users save a place straight from an Instagram or TikTok link.
    • Designed and built the backend and the AI content-extraction pipeline that turns an unstructured social post into structured, mapped place data behind a TypeScript API.
    • Set up the multi-environment release pipeline — per-branch feature builds and signed TestFlight distribution.

    A LangGraph.js chat agent for Auto Ninja, a car-buying business — it walks buyers from first message to a qualified lead, with LLM entity extraction and a LangSmith eval suite. Node/TypeScript, deployed on EC2.

    Paseo

    Open-source contributor to Paseo (~11k★), a multi-agent coding-workspace orchestrator — a merged iOS fix plus PRs for agent session-forking and workspace-pinning, against its Node/TypeScript daemon and Expo/Electron clients.
